Position: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Fall River, MA
Job Type: Per Diem

Job Description:

Prima CARE is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced X-Ray Technologist who would be responsible for obtaining x-ray images of patients via radiographic imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow physician’s orders regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging.
• Clearly explain instructions and direct patients during the exam, while addressing needs of the individual patients.
• Correctly position the patient, operating imaging equipment safely and appropriately.
• Practice radiation protocol safety according to ALARA principles.
• Follow proper imaging techniques and procedures.
• Keep accurate patients records
• Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

• Must have an associate degree
• Valid MA Radiologic Technologist license
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Must have a current BLS for healthcare provider
• Must have CPR or CPR/AED certification
