Maria Constance Reis is an experienced Nurse Practitioner who has delivered care in various medical settings in the Fall River community prior to joining the Family Medicine practices at Prima CARE.
Ms. Reis is a native of Fall River, earning her Bachelor's Degree in nursing from Salve Regina University in Newport and her Master's Degree in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from UMass-Dartmouth. She has provided both primary and specialty care and is experienced in Emergency Medicine and Occupational Health. Ms. Reis has been an devoted instructor throughout her career, in roles ranging from a hospital Educational Resource Coordinator, to an instructor of drug awareness and CPR in local schools and colleges, to the Girl Scouts, Paramedic training, and as a Clinical Faculty Preceptor in the Nurse Practitioner Program at UMass.
Ms. Reis is a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Massachusetts Nurse's Association. She is a member of the Swansea Ambulance Board.
Following her passion for delivering high-quality medical care to her community, Ms. Reis sees patients in the office of Dr. Bianca Thorpe at 289 Pleasant Street, Suite 401, on the main Prima CARE campus.
