Dr. Zein Farhat is an experienced and Board-certified Family Medicine physician. He is a graduate of the American University of Beirut and earned his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) at the University of Balamand in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and served as a lead clinician at the Providence Community Health Center for five years before joining Prima CARE.
Dr. Farhat's interests include public health and medical education, completing a Public Health Fellowship at the University of Maryland and assuming a preceptor role for Nurse Practitioner students at the University of Rhode Island. He has contributed to the medical literature with multiple journal articles and has presented research findings at regional, national, and international meetings.
Dr. Farhat is dedicated to the health and well-being of his patients and delivers outstanding and personalized care. He sees patients at Prima CARE's Main Road Family Medicine office at 831 Main Road in Westport and he has ready access and support of the extensive specialty and testing resources of Prima CARE. He is accepting new patients.
Dr. Farhat is fluent in English and Arabic.
