Dr. Timothy Wilson-Byrne is a Fellowship-trained Vascular and Endovascular surgeon with Prima CARE’s Center for Vascular Diseases.
Dr. Wilson-Byrne is a graduate of Boston College and Tufts University (Masters in Chemistry), and earned his Doctorate in Medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Wilson-Byrne has been actively involved in research, both in chemistry and orthopedics. He has contributed to the medical literature in a variety of areas and has presented his research and case studies at national medical meetings.
He is skilled in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the arteries and veins. He is trained in non-invasive vascular diagnosis, advanced angiographic procedures, and in open surgical techniques. Dr. Wilson-Byrne sees outpatients in the Center’s Fall River, Johnston (RI), Taunton (MA), and Attleboro (MA) offices. He performs vascular procedures at Saint Anne’s, Charlton Memorial, Roger Williams, Morton, Our Lady of Fatima, and Sturdy Memorial Hospitals. He also performs a variety of arterial and venous procedure in his office and his office-based vascular suite.
