Dr. Sadip Pant is a Fellowship-trained specialist in Interventional and Structural Cardiology.
Dr. Pant earned his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in Nepal and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He was Fellowship-trained in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Structural Cardiology at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Pant is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Societies of Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He has contributed over 100 journal articles, book chapters, and abstract/oral presentations, and has served on the Editorial Boards of over a dozen profession publications. Dr. Pant has received numerous grants and awards and has participated in clinical trials of cardiac devices and treatment protocols.
Dr. Pant practices general cardiology and specializes in advanced cardiac diagnostic techniques, cardiac catheterization, coronary stenting, and complex revascularization techniques. As a trained structural cardiologist, he diagnoses and treats valvular heart disease (including “minimally-invasive aortic valve replacement”), adult congenital heart abnormalities, and conditions which can predispose to stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation.
Dr. Pant sees outpatients in the Prima CARE Cardiology office at 289 Pleasant Street. He sees in-hospital consultations and performs cardiac procedures at Saint Anne’s and Charlton Memorial Hospitals.
