Meet Ravi Chander, MD
Dr. Chander is an Invasive Cardiologist with privileges to perform cardiac catherizations, implantation of cardiac devices (pacemakers and defribillators) and transesophageal echocardiography. He is a graduate of Indira Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur University. Dr. Chander has extensive postgraduate training in internal medicine and cardiology from various institutions abroad and in the United States such as: Portiuncula Hospital, Ireland; Griffin Hospital/Yale University, CT; and Albany Medical Center, NY.
Dr. Chander is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and is a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (board certified by Heart Rhythm Society). He is also a Level III board certified in Cardiac CT Angiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and has memberships with American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC), Society of Cardiac CT (SCCT), Heart Rhythm Society (HSC) and American Society of Echocardiography (ASE).
He is active at both South Coast Hospitals Group – Charlton Campus and St. Anne’s Hospital. Dr. Chander has received numerous honors and awards and has written for many publications.
