Meet Laurie Reeder, MD
Dr. Laurie Reeder is a Board-certified thoracic surgeon, specializing is diseases of the chest and lungs. She is a graduate of Brown University and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Reeder completed her surgical residency at the University of Chicago and a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Washington.
Dr. Reeder practiced at Kent Hospital in Warwick and has been an Instructor at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and a former Vice-president of the Rhode Island Medical Women’s Association. She has contributed over a dozen articles to the surgical literature and has presented at local and national surgical meetings. Dr. Reeder is Board-certified in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Reeder is member of the Steward Medical Group, sees patients at the Prima CARE Lung Center, and operates at Saint Anne’s Hospital. She is accepting new patients by referral from medical providers.
