Meet Khalid Alhourani, MD
Dr. Khalid Alhourani is a physician who specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He is graduate of the University of Jordan in Amman and completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Alhourani completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, and practiced for several years in Rhode Island prior to joining Prima CARE on a full-time basis in 2017.
Dr. Alhourani is Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and in Sleep Medicine. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Brown University Alpert School of Medicine in Providence and has taught medical students and residents at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, where he has also served at the Assistant Director of Critical Care Services. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physician, the American Thoracic Society, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Alhourani provides Critical Care services in the Intensive Care Unit at Saint Anne’s Hospital and is a member of the Prima CARE Pulmonary Division, seeing patients in consultation at Saint Anne’s, Charlton Memorial Hospital, and in their office on the main Prima CARE campus at 203 Plymouth Avenue.
