Dr. Bilal Mahmood is a Fellowship-trained specialist in Hand Surgery, specializing in conditions and injuries involving the hand, wrist, and elbow.
He is a graduate of Albany Medical College and completed his training in General Orthopedic Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, and then received his speciality training in Hand Surgery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital in New York.
Dr. Mahmood has published extensively in the peer-reviewed professional publications and has given orthopedic presentations at major national orthopedic and hand meetings through the country. He is candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Mahmood joins Prima CARE's Orthopedic Division, seeing outpatients on the main Prima CARE campus, and performing surgical procedures at Saint Anne's Hospital. He sees all types of conditions and injuries, including work-related injuries.
